Robby served as Deputy Solicitor and Solicitor, the lead prosecutor, for Dorchester, Calhoun and Orangeburg counties in the early 2000’s – culminating a near decade of public service prosecuting criminals and making our neighborhoods safe.

For the last 15 years, Robby has represented the Dorchester Children’s Advocacy Center. His experience as an attorney, a child victim’s advocate, and a prosecutor is invaluable in pushing needed policy changes at the State House to direct resources and new policies where they are most needed.

Robby believes there are real improvements that can be made to get criminals off the street, but it starts with making sure our law enforcement officials have the tools they need – like increasing funding to SLED to speed up the process of DNA testing for criminal cases. Right now, it can take up to 18 months to analyze DNA samples.

But most importantly, Robby promises to never defund the police and always Back the Blue!
