Robby’s experience in the private sector gives him insight and knowledge to create better economic opportunities for all citizens of  House District 97. He understands that investing in our schools, roads, water and sewer, and broadband infrastructure will result in the creation of local jobs and better economic opportunities closer to home.

Robby has been heavily involved in economic development efforts in the Charleston region for the last 25 years. He has served on the boards of the Tri-County Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce, the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, the Charleston Regional Development Alliance, and the BCD Council of Governments. Since the closing of the Navy base in 1994, Robby has been an integral part of the team that has transformed the economy of the Charleston region. He will take the knowledge he has gained and the relationships that he has formed to Columbia to improve the economy of every part of District 97.
